Tira Tigo (Borrow, Talk now Pay later)

Every active subscriber of 2G/3G prepaid for at least 3 months that has a balance of 0 – 3Rwf can borrow 80Rwf  by dialing *444#. The customer then receives an SMS notification that their borrowed amount has been granted if they are eligible. On the next reload, the customer pays back 90Rwf which includes a 10Rwf service fee. However, customers can only be allowed to borrow again if the first borrowed amount has been paid.
